Upon receiving a construction loan, GBT Realty, a Brentwood, Tennessee development firm, said it will immediately start on building 108 multifamily units in addition to a new retail center named Southcrest Center.
The company announced Tuesday the name of the retailers for the center, including Scooter’s Coffee, Orange Theory Fitness, Heartland Dental, Valvoline, Wendy’s and McAlister’s Deli.
Construction is already underway for the retail component and is set to open mid-2022.
All the retailers listed above are anticipated to open this spring, except McAlister’s Deli, which is anticipated to open fall 2022.
“Southcrest Reserve will provide housing inventory for a bustling, multicultural, and dynamic area of Nashville,” said Craig Cole, managing director at GBT Realty in a statement. “Residents will have immediate access to a full suite of amenities and retailers on-site while being along a major transit corridor to and from downtown.”
The loan for the multifamily complex was provided by Commerce Bank and construction is set to begin immediately by Hardcastle Construction Company.
GBT Realty is also developing a 7-11 next door to the future retail center and completed the Southpointe Marketplace shopping center, headlined by Aldi.
The company said it has other projects in the Nolensville Pike area that are in the works.
